HBA|GBR Annual Gumbo Cookoff Benefiting the GBR Food Bank

November is heating up at Ferguson Home Showroom with the HBA|GBR Annual Gumbo Cookoff! This year we are giving back by asking all attendees to bring a food item or cash donation for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to cover their admission.

Three ways to be involved -  TEAMS, SPONSORS, AND ATTENDEES

TEAMS: Gumbo teams can reserve an inside cooking spot for $360 (only 2 spots available) or a spot in the outdoor cook tent for $260 (13 spots available). Gumbo cooks can arrive beginning at 7:30 AM. This year we are adding games, music, and some friendly competition to keep teams entertained throughout the morning. 

Celebrity chefs including Chef John Folse, Chef Peter Sclafani and Eric Sibley will serve as the official judges for the Grand Prize and the coveted HBA|GBR Gumbo Cookoff Paddle!

SPONSORS: Get your name in front of attendees as a Bar, Photo, or DJ sponsor.

ATTENDEES: Tasting and People's Choice voting begins at 1:00 PM. Gumbo Cookoff winners will be announced at 3:00 PM.

Enjoy music, games and networking as you do good for our community! All attendees are asked to bring food donations or to donate cash to help the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank as they prepare for the Holiday Season.
